For many men, anger is a sign of depression. For women, we tend to feel ashamed and try and pretend we are happy. Depressive symptoms can be constant self criticism, difficulty sleeping, feeling hard to get up and be motivated, irritability, overreacting to small things, feeling constantly tired and exhausted.
