PTSD and Complex PTSD
Most people know of someone who has PTSD and many know it as something that involves a big traumatic event, such as assault, violence, car accidents, etc.

You can also develop PTSD in other less life threatening situations that involve more repeated events of significant stress that you can’t escape from.

Complex PTSD is more significant and permeates through the person’s personality, they are constantly on guard with others, always feeling as though something bad will happen.

Some symptoms you many notice are anxiety that won’t go away, up and down moods, getting triggered by loud noises and too many people, avoiding situations, feeling sick and fatigued, feeling like you are worthless and not good enough, kind of like giving up on life.
